1BOOTS joined the *V* DEVILS REJECTS Strategic Combat Group on 23 March 2009 and was given the rank of 2nd LIEUTENANT for his experience and knowledge of the game. On 28 March 2009 he was given the rank of 1st LIEUTENANT for having the knowledge of Phase One Training. On 1 April 2009, he was promoted to CAPTAIN for having the knowledge of Phase Two Training and for the meritorious service to Group and Country.

This Air Achievement Medal is awarded on 1 April 2009 for having the knowledge of Phase Two Training. (Refer to Awards section for details of training.)
This Combat Readiness Medal is awarded on 5 April 2009 for the combat awareness ability and quick response to rallys and enemy attacks.
This Good Conduct Medal is awarded on 15 May 2009 for his continued good behavior on VOX channel and for obeying orders without question.
This Army Commendation Medal is awarded for the successful landing of 5 kills in a Sherman Firefly against the enemy on 5 April 2009. These kills contributed in the capture of the base.
This Bronze Service Star is the second bestowal of Army Commendation Medal awarded for the Solo capture of Vehicle Base V113 in an M3 on 28 April 2009.
This Silver Star Medal is awarded for the successful landing of 18 kills in a T34/85 in a single sortie while camping an enemy spawn point on 5 April 2009.
This Bronze Service Star is awarded on 1 June 2009 for the second bestowal of the Bronze Star Medal for the successful landing of 8 kills in a Sherman VC Firefly (M4) in a single sortie.
This Bronze Service Star is awarded on 19 July 2009 for the third bestowal of the Bronze Star Medal for the successful landing of 7 kills in a Sherman VC Firefly (M4) in a single sortie.
